WIN Coach Connects residents with personalized support
and resources to build stability, confidence, and a brighter future.
WIN Coach
The WIN Coach provides individualized support to both residents living in affordable housing managed by The WIN Project and participants served through the broader WIN Pathways Program.Originally designed to strengthen stability for WIN residents, the WIN Coach model has expanded to support individuals and families at different stages of their housing journey — including those preparing to secure permanent housing, transitioning from shelters or transitional housing, working toward employment or education goals, or preparing for greater financial independence.
WIN Coaches help participants identify goals, develop an individualized plan, connect with resources, and stay engaged as they work toward long-term stability.
Depending on the needs of the household, support may include connections to:
- Employment and workforce-development opportunities
- Job training and educational programs
- Financial counseling and budgeting support
- Housing and rental resources
- Public benefits and community services
- Food, transportation, and childcare assistance
- Healthcare and wellness resources
- Legal and family-support services
- Rental and utility assistance
For residents in WIN-managed affordable housing, coaching can provide continued support after placement to help strengthen housing retention, increase income, pursue education or employment, and prepare for future housing opportunities.
For participants served through WIN Pathways and partner organizations, the WIN Coach can begin working with individuals before permanent housing is secured and continue supporting them as they transition into stable rental housing or pursue homeownership.
This expanded model allows The WIN Project to provide a continuum of support that goes beyond housing placement — helping individuals and families secure housing, maintain stability, access opportunity, and continue progressing toward greater independence.
