WIN Pathway provides housing navigation, housing readiness, rental-support resources, and homeownership preparation.
Depending on the assistance requested, WIN may use participant information to:

- Facilitate communication with housing providers
- Connect participants to rental assistance and other resources
- Provide rental-readiness assistance
- Provide financial-education resources
- Connect participants with homeownership-preparation resources
Participation in WIN Pathway does not guarantee housing placement, approval by a landlord, financial assistance, financing, or homeownership. When WIN sends information to an independent landlord, property manager, lender, housing provider, or other third party at a participant’s request or with appropriate authorization, that organization may have its own privacy practices.
WIN Coach
WIN Coach provides case-management and resource-navigation support to residents of WIN housing. WIN may use resident information to help connect residents to services such as:
- Health care
- Public benefits
- Employment and workforce resources
- Education
- Financial education
- Family-support services
- Housing-stability resources
- Community programs
- Homeownership preparation
WIN will seek to limit collection and disclosure to information reasonably necessary to provide the requested assistance.

The WIN Project may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to operate our organization, provide requested services, or comply with applicable requirements.

Housing Screening and Verification Providers

Information received in connection with a reasonable-accommodation or reasonable-modification request will be handled with appropriate confidentiality and access will be limited, where practicable, to individuals who need the information to evaluate, implement, document, or administer the request or as otherwise required by law.
Donations and Payment Processing
Online donations may be processed through an independent payment-processing provider. The payment processor may collect payment information directly from the donor.
The WIN Project may receive information such as:

The payment processor’s collection and handling of payment information is governed by its own privacy and security practices.

Opting out of promotional messages does not prevent WIN from sending necessary communications relating to an application, tenancy, program participation, requested service, safety matter, transaction, or legal notice.
Children's Information
The WIN Project’s general website is designed primarily for adults.
Children should not independently submit housing applications, identification documents, financial information, health-related information, or other sensitive personal information through the general website.
Information concerning minor household members that is necessary for housing eligibility, tenancy, family services, or program participation should ordinarily be provided by a parent, legal guardian, tenant, applicant, or other authorized adult.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child submitted personal information directly through the website inappropriately, the parent or guardian may contact WIN.
Data Security
The WIN Project uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
Depending on the information and systems involved, safeguards may include:

The WIN Project is a nonprofit organization. Many nonprofit organizations do not fall within the definition of a “business” subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act.
